Peking University presents awards to remarkable student associations

Peking University, April 1, 2019: On the evening of March 29, outstanding student associations were granted awards by Peking University Youth League Committee in PKU Hall.
This year, five associations was honored “Flagship Association”, including Cycling Association, Mountaineering Association, Association for Green Life, Youth Marxism Development Research Association, and Association for Brush Art (Health Science Center). Moreover, PKU Youth League Committee also awarded the title of “Top Ten Student Associations” to Love Heart Society, Acapella Club, Traditional Chinese Instruments Association, Legal Aid Association, Student Services Association (Health Science Center), Painting and Calligraphy Student Association, Peking Opera and Kun Opera Association, Youth Astronomy Society, Model UN Association, and Medical Visualization Association (Health Science Center). In addition, Pujiang Development Research Association and Youth Think Tank Society were awarded the title of “New Prominent Association”.

Student associations are an important part of PKU campus culture. They provides a big stage for students to develop and show their talents. As the main organization managing and serving student associations, PKU Youth League Committee aims at providing high-quality resources for every member in PKU student associations.
