Liu Liange meets with Hao Ping

Hao Ping, president of PKU, said that the establishment of the Center will be beneficial for China to engage with Europe and the rest of the world. Hao added that he hopes the Center will be built into an influential platform for EU studies based on PKU’s academic strength and BOC’s prowess in managing international and integrated financial services.

Liu Liange, chairman of BOC, said that the Center will play an active role in promoting financial cooperation and people-to-people exchanges between China and the EU. BOC will tap on its advantages in global operations and expand its cooperation with PKU in the fields of joint talent training, think tank development, and international projects to promote China’s higher education and make contributions to building a new development model.
