Sun Qingfeng awarded 2015 OCPA AAA-Poe Prize

Peking University, Oct. 9, 2015: Prof. Sun Qingfeng from International Center for Quantum Materials received 2015 OCPA Achievement in Asia Award (AAA)-Robert T. Prize, for his seminal contribution to the field of quantum transport and spintronics including the helical structure and the spin-orbit coupling in DNA and helical protein molecules, the spin superconductor with zero spin-resistance, the electric Meissner effect and the spin-current Josephson effect.

The Award ceremony will be held in Baltimore, MD, March 14-16, 2016, at the 2016 APS March Meeting.

The AAA is presented annually to a physicist/astronomer (or a team of Physicists/astronomers) of Chinese ethnicity working in Asia who has (have) made outstanding contributions in physics or astronomy.
