Peking University, Nov 9, 2015: From Oct.19 to 26, 2015, China-Finland “Education and Technology” Roundtable Conference was held in University of Helsinki. PKU professors from Graduate School of Education, School of Arts, along with ten PKU students attended the conference.
In the conference, 27 academic reports given by more than thirty teachers and students from both universities were delivered, concerning various subjects such as MOOC (massive open online course), teacher training and mobile education, which reflected the latest education research findings.
Besides, initiatory cooperation in fields of interschool exchange, program application and MOOC project have been achieved in the meeting, and both sides have agreed on the general frame and publication issues of their co-editing English treatise New Ways to Teach and Learn in China and Finland—Crossing Boundaries with Technology.
PKU teachers and students were also invited to visit several colleges and institutions in University of Helsinki.
The roundtable conference is held on the basis of the long-term academic exchange project between Peking University and University of Helsinki, and would facilitate further cooperation between the two universities.
