Peking University, May 28, 2018: On the morning of May 18th, the signing ceremony of the joint project for the double masters programme between School of Economics of Peking University and the Nanyang Business School of Nanyang Technological University in Singapore was held at the Economics Building of Peking Univiersity. Sun Qixiang, dean of the Peking University School of Economics, and Robert Kennedy, dean of Nanyang Business School , signed the agreement on behalf of both parties.
According to the agreement, the double masters programme will be officially launched in the fall semester of 2019. The project is open to students who have already entered the school. They can join the project by submitting the required application materials and passing the assessment of the other party. Each year, about 10 quotas are provided. Peking University School of Economics offers four professional courses instructed in Chinese namely, finance, insurance, taxation and international business. Nanyang Business School offers masters programmes in English and Chinese. The project lasts two to three years. The students complete the courses and other learning sessions approved by their respective training programmes in stages in both schools. Students who meet the graduation requirements of both training programmes will receive a master's degree from Peking University and a master's degree in finance from Nanyang Technological University.
