Peking University, Jan. 9, 2019: Peking University has achieved the first place in the latest rankings of Chinese universities regarding overseas network communication, as shown in the report published by Beijing Normal University on January 8, 2019.

among Chinese universities
With a total score of 853,494.07, PKU stood out from 184 listed higher institutions (including those in the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan), climbing up from the second in 2017 to the first in 2018. The report also places PKU the first in the communication impact of its officially-verified Facebook and Instagram.
According to Beijing Normal University, the Report on Chinese University Overseas Network Communication has been published since 2014, and Peking University, prior to its peak in 2018, has sustained Top 2 for several years in a row.

As part of its ongoing efforts to build a more globalized “double first-rate” university, PKU has formed a dedicated team operating its English website as well as an array of social media, which is expected to further strengthen PKU’s international branding and global influence
