Premier Li Keqiang visits PKU innovation and entrepreneurship exhibition site

Peking University, Jun 24, 2019: The National Mass Innovation and Entrepreneurship Week 2019 kicked off in Hangzhou, the capital city in east China’s Zhejiang Province, on June 17, 2019. Peking University is one of the national level mass entrepreneurship and innovation demonstration bases. On this occasion, School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Peking University, participated in this exhibition and was welcomed by Chinese Premier Li Keqiang.
During his visit, Premier Li learned the basic situation of PKU Innovation and Entrepreneurship demonstration base and the eco-system of School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and PKU Science Park. Moreover, Premier Li expressed his sincere hope, saying that efforts should be stepped up for the better development of School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and the cultivation of innovators and entrepreneurs.

National Mass Innovation and Entrepreneurship Week was initiated by the State Council in 2015 and was held every year. The purpose is to further create a good social atmosphere and promote innovation and entrepreneurship in a wider range, higher level and deeper scale. The National Mass Innovation and Entrepreneurship Week 2019 aims to build a platform to showcase accomplishments in innovation and entrepreneurship and facilitate the sharing of information and resources on innovation and entrepreneurship.
