Peking University launches a cloud-based storage platform

Peking University, Nov. 30, 2019: Peking University launched a brand-new cloud-based storage platform on December 1, after one year of debugging and updating by PKU Computer Center. The online platform was exclusively developed for students and faculty members at Peking University, catering to the demand for more convenient online storage services and enabling PKUers to store and share files in a free and safe online environment.

User interface 

The platform, which outperforms many other cloud-based drives available in the market, provides unlimited speed of transmitting data. Moreover, it offers 200GB of storage for students and 500GB for faculty members at Peking University, PKU Health Science Center and Shenzhen Graduate School.

The PKU drive has a simple layout and it is easy to operate. It is equipped with functions including file name searching, full-text searching, synchronization on different devices, file sharing, collaborative editing and more. It could be accessed via disk.pku.edu.cn or pan.pku.edu.cn, or through applications available on iOS, MacOS, Windows, and Android.
