The 2014 Peking University Undergraduate Chemistry Summer Camp, the 7th since 2008, was held from July 4 to 6.

All the campers, divided into 7 groups by research major, participated in a comprehensive written test. Later in an interview, they presented their academic and research experience to the CCME professors, expressed their understanding of science and shared their dream and goals.

Those who got a higher weighed score were honored “Excellent Camper” and actually admitted by CCME in advance. With their formal application materials handed in this September, the 132 “aces among aces” are to be enrolled in 2015.

During the camp, several activities were held to promote the CCME institutes varying from inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry, analytical chemistry to polymer chemistry and so forth. There were also talks among the directors, the graduates and the campers.
