Additionally, they crafted embroidered stamps to commemorate the Year of the Loong and wrote heartfelt New Year wishes on postcards. The Chinese dragon, also known as the "loong," occupies a significant place in Chinese mythology. This auspicious creature is often linked with water, symbolizing qualities associated with prosperity, abundant harvests, and good health.

This event provided teachers and students with an opportunity to immerse themselves in the vibrant cultural life of Peking University. As they celebrated Chinese New Year, they expressed their warmest wishes for prosperity and good fortune.
