Peking University, Nov 14: On Nov 4: Doctor LaMar Bunts, former vice president of International Business Department of American College Test(ACT) led the delegation of the International Test and Training Project to the Institute of Test in Peking University.
Qin Chunhua, dean of the Institute of Test, expressed warm welcome to the delegation. He briefly introduced the duties and principles of the institute and the ongoing empirical researches and types of exam valuation.
LaMar Bunts delivered the hope for further cooperation with Peking University as international businesses of ACT develop. Both sides reached an agreement on establishing a closed relationship and had an in-depth exchange of views of many projects of common concern.
The symposium
On Oct 5, Doctor Changhua Rich, chief scientist of test development and Mrs. April Xu, international business supervisor of ACT presented the proceeding situations of ACT career ability tests to experts of Student Career Center in Peking University.
ACT, founded in 1959, is now the leading independent and non-profit institute of education test all over the world. It has a history of over 50 years on developing test questions and analyzing test results. It provides a lifetime test system to more than 140 countries around the world, including American and offers evaluation, analysis and counseling services to students, educational workers, government institutes and business groups. ACT supports worldwide education and talent cultivation. The most famous test project of ACTis American College Test, which involves about 2.5 million students every year.
