Hao Ping welcomed the party leaders warmly. He introduced the close historical relationship between Peking University and the Communist Party of China (CPC) to the delegation: Peking University was the place of origin of communism in China. The pioneers of CPC, Mao Zedong, Li Dazhao, and Chen Duxiu, had all worked in Peking University. Peking University was bound to shoulder the historical responsibility of the CPC in the future.

Mahamoud O. R. Al-Aloul stated that the delegation was greatly honored to visit Peking University, one of the best universities in the world. He also stressed that with the “CPC in Dialogue with World Political Parties” high-level meeting drawing near, this visit was of great significance.

Hao Ping also pointed out that Peking University has been paying close attention to the “Belt and Road” initiative and region and country-specific studies, especially on the Middle East. In the near future, Peking University will deepen this cooperation and welcome more friends from Palestine, Iraq, and Jordan to study on campus. Mahamoud O. R. Al-Alou agreed with this proposal and was glad that the universities of Palestine can further collaborate with Peking University in multiple fields.
