Peking University to collaborate with University of Catania in environmental and chemical sciences

As an invited guest, Zhu Tong gave two special reports, “Respiration Affects Our Health” and “The development in Air Pollution Research in China”. In these reports, Zhu introduced the air pollution situation in China and illustrated the relationship between air pollution and health.

Founded in 1434, University of Catania is one of the oldest universities in Europe. Currently, there are 17 departments and more than 50,000 students in this long-established university. With the excellent research foundation of Unict’s Department of Chemical Sciences in the fields of materials chemistry and environmental sciences, the cooperation between the two universities will not only promote the interdisciplinary integration of emerging materials and environmental conservation but also improve international communication.
