Peking University, Dec. 10, 2018: On November 23, 2018, a delegation of three people from Technical University of Munich, Germany (TUM), including Professor Juliane Winkelmann, senior vice president of TUM, Mr. Philip Miessner, director of Asian Cooperation at the International Office of TUM, and Ms. Jin Zhenshan, TUM representative to China, visited Peking University People's Hospital (PUPH). PUPH professors including Professor Han Fang, vice director of Respiratory Medicine, led by Zhang Jun, vice president of PUPH, received the guests and exchanged views with them.
During the exchange, Zhang Jun, PUPH vice president, expressed the hope that the two sides will further expand in-depth exchanges and cooperation in various disciplines between PUPH and TUM and its medical school under the friendly background of the Memorandum of Understanding signed by them and he looked forward to cooperating with TUM in such fields as academic exchanges, scientific research cooperation and personnel training, and achieving pragmatic cooperation results.
At the same time, the two sides had in-depth discussions on the intentions of cooperating in related fields including restless legs syndrome and dystonia. Professor Winkelmann and his delegation expressed their anticipation for further cooperation between the two sides in the future.
