Burmese scholars spoke highly of Professor Wang’s academic rigor and commended him for his unmatched accomplishments in Chinese-Burmese comparative studies. Professor Wang’s research has furnished solid linguistic evidence for Sino-Burmese cultural consanguinity and has contributed significantly to academic exchanges as well as political communication between the two neighboring countries.
