Peking University, May 31, 2019: On May 29, Sultan bin Salmeen Al Mansouri, Qatar’s ambassador to China, visited Peking University. Hao Ping, president of PKU, met the guest at Linhuxuan.


Hao Ping extended his gratitude to Mansouri for his outstanding contribution to the exchanges between China and Qatar during his tenure. Hao hoped that Mansouri could continue to support Peking University’s international projects in the future.

On the other hand, Mansouri reflected on the friendship of both sides, saying that Peking University is prestigious in the international academia, and it has been playing a significant role in boosting people-to-people exchanges between Qatar and China. He sincerely appreciated PKU for the strong support to him and to the Qatar Embassy in recent years. He also hoped that Peking University will continue the study on the Middle East and carry out more influential research.
