PKUHSC signs MoU with University College London and Moorfields Eye Hospital

Peking University, July 5, 2019: PKU Health Science Center School of Optometry and Ophthalmology (PKUHSCSOO) signed Memorandum of Understanding with University College London Eye Institute and its strategic partner Moorfields Eye Hospital. The MoU will foster a closer partnership between PKU and UCL in the fields of optometry and ophthalmology, promote the integration of medical resources, and create a win-win scenario.
PKUHSCSOO was founded by the ophthalmology department of PKU People’s Hospital in March 2017. It is now a team with strong research strength, a good age structure, and a focus on teaching and talent training. UCL Eye Institute and Moorfields Eye Hospital are the world’s top eye institute and hospital, and lead the world in the fields of vision science research and teaching. The collaboration of UCL and PKU will enhance and expand the strong relation and is of great significance for PKUHSCSOO to provide world-class clinical service for eye patients and high quality training and clinical research.
