President Hao Ping attends International University Sports Federation Conference

Peking University, September. 20, 2019: On the International University Sports Day, conferences involving the International University Sports Federation were held at the International Olympic Committee Headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland.
President of Peking University and Chairman of the China Federation of University, Hao Ping, engaged in a meeting with the Vice Chairman of the International College Students' Union, Yang Liguo, vice president from the Federation of University Sports of China (FUSC), Shen Zhen, as well as members of the Switzerland Olympic committee.
This is an annually held conference organized by the University Sports Federation, with the purpose of improving the quality of life of university students and to promote communication among students of different cultures through the integration of physical activities on university campuses.
Hao Ping and Thomas Bach
President of the International Olympic Committee, Thomas Bach, was also present at the conference and delivered his speech. He then met with President Hao Ping to further discuss the development of university sports and holding large-scale comprehensive competitions. At the invitation of Hao, Mr. Bach will visit Peking University and deliver a speech here in future.
