The Guanghua-Kellogg Executive MBA program is a global partnership between Peking University's Guanghua School of Management and Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, bringing together the world-class faculties of two premier business schools and featuring a rigorous and cutting-edge curriculum that integrates eastern management philosophy and Western management science. Program Overview



Why GK?

Global Leadership with China Expertise

The curriculum integrates Eastern and Western management practices and emphasizes western management science and eastern management philosophy. It includes cutting-edge theories, and is closely links business theory and practice, encouraging students to explore future economic growth opportunities with a global mindset.



Global Electives with Local Insights

As part of the GK-EMBA program, students will have the opportunity to complete a global elective at partner schools of Kellogg’s global network encompassing six campuses around the world (Recanati at Tel Aviv University in Israel; Schulich at York University in Canada; Hong Kong University of Science and Technology; WHU at Vallendar in Germany and Kellogg’s Chicago and Miami campuses).



Global Network with Elite Peers

As a GK-EMBA student, you will have access to both Guanghua and Kellogg’s EMBA alumni network, as well as to Kellogg’s global network that spans 113 countries and 6 continents, connecting more than 75,000 alumni. This immersive network offers students opportunities to engage in collaborations with peer leaders across the globe.



Application Guide

1. General Info
Start Date: September
Duration: Two Years
Language: English
Teaching Structure: 12 Modules taught every other month, with each module lasting 5-6 days.
Locations: Mainly in Beijing and two modules overseas.
Degree: 1. Upon graduation, participants are conferred a joint EMBA degree from Peking University and Northwestern University. 2. Participants will also be awarded with an EMBA diploma and degree from Peking University.

✦  Entrepreneurs with a desire to understand international changes in the context of globalization and transform their businesses;
✦  Senior managers in international corporations who aim to develop overseas markets;
✦  Business leaders and professionals with a foothold or interest in the Chinese market who seek to develop a global perspective to elevate their competitiveness.

3. Requirements
✦  A bachelor's degree or above from a recognized university or an approved institution;
✦  A minimum of 8 years of significant full-time work experience in a managerial position with increasing responsibilities;
✦  As the program is taught in English, English proficiency is required.

Guanghua School of Management features a world-class faculty with international vision represented by Professors Li Yining and Liu Qiao, as well as a renowned academic scholars with international influence who apply their professional insights to the pressing issues of the era.



Kellogg School of Management is well known for its world-leading academic research. It has produced world-class research and leads in the teaching of many fields such as negotiation and organizational management, and is recognized as No.1 in the United States for Marketing.
