Biography:

Antoon Braeckman is Professor of Contemporary European Social and Political Philosophy at KU Leuven, Belgium, and founder and senior member of KU Leuven's Research Centre for Political Philosophy and Ethics (RIPPLE). Prof. Brackman's research interests include social symbolic institutions, the role of political and democratic representation, etc. Currently, he is more concerned with the broad implications of Foucault's modern state genealogy.
