Introduction:

Li Jia, Wang Yingzheng and Wang Yongzhi, outstanding young actors of the Jingju Theatre Company of Beijing, Zhang Qianran, the project executive assistant of the Marketing Department of the Jingju Theatre Company of Beijing, Qian Kun, the costume in-charge teacher of the Wumei Center of the Jingju Theatre Company of Beijing, and Zhu Xiguang, the prop in-charge teacher, will jointly present about the history, profession, and genres, facial makeup and other knowledge, combined with the "Dragon and Phoenix Chengxiang" performance at night, a wonderful bilingual guided tour in Chinese and English. In addition, there will be special interactive sessions.

This activity is open to both Chinese and foreign students. It is one of the important activities of the ‘Fine Arts Education Base for International Students and Scholars’ in the 2023 Peking University International Strategic Year. It is also an opportunity to understand traditional Chinese culture and experience the beauty of Peking Opera. Everyone is welcome to register and participate!
