Abstract:

The classical positive mass theorem compares the ADM mass of an asymptotically flat manifold with non-negative scalar curvature to it of the Euclidean space. Inspired by Gromov’s series papers and Schoen’s conjecture, people have great intentions to study the positive mass theorem for metrics with singular sets. In this talk, I will talk about our recent work on this topic. This is a joint work with Wenshuai Jiang and Weimin Sheng.
