Abstract: 

This year 2024 marks the centenary of Tagore’s visit to China. To review the 100-year development of Indian studies at Peking University(PKU) and the journey of China-India cultural exchanges, we organize this exhibition to reflect on the construction of Indian discipline at PKU. The exhibition included four parts: “New Learning and Tagore’s Visit to China”, “Discipline Foundation and P. C. Bagchi’s Guest Lecture”, “Exploration of Discipline System and China-India Cultural Exchanges”, and “Development of Disciplines in the New Era and China-India Cultural Exchanges Deepening”. We are committed to furthering our studies on Indian civilizations and facilitating cultural exchanges between China and India.
