On December 11, 2024, Peking University School of Transnational Law (STL) is honored to invite Professor Shen Weiwei, Associate Professor at China University of Political Science and Law, to host a special movie night. Professor Shen will watch the iconic sci-fi film Blade Runner with students, followed by a discussion of the movie. This event is organized by the STL Law Library and will be moderated by Professor Gilad Abiri, Associate Professor at STL. We warmly invite all interested faculty and students to join us for this engaging event!

Join us for a screening of Ridley Scott's visionary masterpiece "Blade Runner: The Director's Cut" with Professor Shen Weiwei (CUPL), hosted by Professor Gilad Abiri (STL) at the STL Law Library. Following the screening of this neo-noir classic, Professor Shen will present a lecture examining the film's profound exploration of humanity, consciousness, and the intersection of law and artificial intelligence. The evening will conclude with an open discussion, inviting attendees to engage with one of cinema's most influential works in an intellectual setting.
