Abstract: 

In this talk I will provide an overview of the current state of affective artificial intelligence and how psychological research has contributed to its development. I will also illustrate how affective AI can help psychological research. Finally, I will discuss how AI researchers and psychologists can work together to move AI to the next frontier.
