Peking University on Monday approved the establishment of the National Center for Financial Research to offer consultancy services for regulators and major market players.
The center, donated by Zhongzhi Enterprise Group, is planned to be built as an open platform offering world-class research and solutions to address the major challenges facing China's financial system.
An international forum, also held on Monday, attracted more than 300 scholars and entrepreneurs, including Robert Meton, the Nobel Prize Winner in Economics.
