Peking University, May 8, 2024: Nestled amidst vibrant greenery, quaint cottages emerge into view. Beneath the dappled shade of trees, cats navigate the sea of green gracefully. As early summer unfolds at Peking University, the Yannan Garden exudes an especially tranquil atmosphere, untouched by the clamor of the world outside. (Editor's note: Yannan Garden was given the UNESCO Asia-Pacific Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation last December.)

After environmental beautification, Yannan Garden now boasts a new transformation, where rustic charm intertwines vibrant life. Cultural spaces such as the Three Pine Halls, Wisteria Corner, and Yichun Hall, seamlessly blend into the natural landscape, creating a harmonious symphony of heritage and aesthetics.

Let us embark on a visual journey through Yannan garden, immersing ourselves in its rich history, as we listen to the stories whispered by every brick, every tile, and every blade of grass.
