Peking University, April 27, 2022: On April 23 and 24, Peking University (PKU) successfully held the 29th Sports Festival and Spring Sports Games at May Fourth playground. The weather is pleasing for two lengthy days of playground activities.
The opening ceremony started with a group performance combining drumming, dragon dancing and tai chi, which demonstrated PKUers’ willingness to work together to pursue Chinese dreams.
Following the PKU national flag guard team, athletes from all departments and faculties of PKU parade to the venue.
Every athlete shows their sporting spirits in various events. It is indeed a thrilling experience for both students and teachers.
The winners were proud of being awarded the medals and certificates, and appreciation from the chief guest.
Aside from competitive events, there are other interesting sports games which participates can have fun with sports.
