Peking University, November 7, 2022: The sight of fallen leaves carpeting the walkways and the chilly wind that caressed the cheeks of passers-by are signs that autumn has already made a quiet exit. During the mid-term exam hustle, PKUers took time to unwind by strolling around Weiming Lake. As nature burst out its last beauty for a grand finale, the trees adorned their golden carnival clothes, celebrating how each hue harmonized with each other. Wild pirouettes of fallen leaves danced to the serenade of rustlings, honoring the offerings of every earth-bound gifts. Adorable ducklings waddled in splashes of water by the sound of cheerful banters of PKUers enjoying a lakeside amble. It is no wonder that autumn occupy so much of the literary canon, for poets and writers always attempted to woo this fleeting season to linger longer.
Take a pause, and immerse yourselves in the lingering vibrancy of autumn. Don’t forget to immortalize its evanescent beauty with your camera.
