Peking University, March 26, 2025: As the morning sunlight sets her dainty feet upon the soil softened by spring dew, cheers and laugh ring through the fragrant PKU campus. Frolicking in the warmth, the spring revelers have cast aside their worries, their youthful smile sweetened by the gentle breeze. 

This is the unique early spring of Yanyuan, where poetry can spawn from each lingering glance and scholarly solemnity mingles with youthful vibrance.

Brimming with vitality, the Weiming Lake ripples as the vernal breeze caresses the freshly thawed water, glistening in the dazzling sunlight, illuminating a new season of hope.




 
  
Magnolias bloom like delicate porcelain, their petals unfurling in soft shades of ivory and blush pink. Whether swaying gently in the wind or resting in serene stillness, magnolias capture the essence of grace, their fleeting beauty leaving an unforgettable impression on all who behold them.




 
  
In a riot of pink, peach blossoms vie in charm, their coy yet enchanting snicker dripping with cuteness, an ethereal beauty that deserves to be pursued with the noblest chivalry. 




 

The PKU cats waste no time in basking in the vernal glow. “This spot is perfect. I feel like a warm croissant,” says one cat. “You are turning into a giant puddle of fluff. But you look nice and…toasty,” replies another.

 

A poem. A melody. An oil painting. Yanyuan in spring steals all the earthly charm. Just as spring breathes life into the world around us, awakening flowers and filling the air with fresh possibilities, let it also awaken the dreams within you. The season invites you to step forward, with hope in your heart and courage in your soul. This is your season—let it be the spring of your dreams.
