Peking University tops QS Asia University Rankings for second consecutive year

Peking University, November 9, 2023: Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) released the 16th edition of its QS Asia University Rankings on Nov. 8, 2023. Peking University (PKU) retains its top spot for the second consecutive year, scoring highly for indicators such as “Academic Reputation,” “Employer Reputation,” and “Citations per Faculty.” Peking University attained the title as the top ranked university in the QS Asia University Rankings for the first time in 2022.
China is the most influential research hub in Asia, with 24 universities in the top 50 for citations per paper and 15 in the top 50 for international research network collaboration. Peking University attained an exceptional score of 97.5 for “Citations per Faculty,” exemplifying the University’s unwavering commitment towards research and academic innovation.
