Delegation from McGill University Faculty of Education Visits PKU

Peking University, March 21, 2025: A delegation from the Faculty of Education, McGill University visited the PKU Faculty of Education in early March to explore opportunities for academic collaboration, student exchange, and future development.
The delegation, led by Vivek Venkatesh, Dean of the Faculty of Education of McGill University, Zhao Pengfei, Assistant Professor at the Department of Integrated Studies in Education, and Wang Yan, President of the China Alumni Association of McGill University, was warmly received by PKU faculty including Professor Yan Fengqiao, Dean of the PKU Faculty of Education, along with his colleagues.
The two sides introduced to each other their school history, key academic achievements and future development plans, and discussed potential collaboration in areas including artificial intelligence, interdisciplinary studies, and science education.
They also explored various forms of student exchange and joint teaching programs, including short-term exchanges, summer research internships, etc., with a view to boosting academic collaboration and dialogue between the two schools.
This visitation strengthened cooperation between the two universities in academic resource sharing, student exchange, and talent cultivation, laying a solid foundation for establishing a long-term partnership in the future.
