Peking University, April 28, 2023: Peking University HSBC Business School (PHBS) student Yang Xinfang and alumnus Zhou Jun were amongst the 10 recipients who were awarded the “Top 10 Outstanding Youth Entrepreneurs in Shenzhen” award during the Shenzhen High-Quality Development Youth Action Conference. The award ceremony was organized by the Communist Youth League Shenzhen Municipal Committee and the Shenzhen Youth Federation.

Yang Xinfang

Currently enrolled in the PHBS Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) program, Yang founded Oceanpayment, an online payment service, in 2014. Having led her team for the past 8 years, Oceanpayment has successfully broken into the cross-border e-commerce digital payment technology sector. Oceanpayment is also the only FinTech company in China that is licensed to provide digital payment globally.

Zhou Jun

After graduating from the EMBA program in 2018,  Zhou Jun founded Thinkcar, an automobile testing and research company, in 2019. Under his leadership, Thinkcar has expanded into the European and North American markets and has been awarded several domestic accolades.

The “Top 10 Outstanding Young Entrepreneurs in Shenzhen” award aims to celebrate the achievements of youth entrepreneurs in Shenzhen and highlight their contributions to Shenzhen’s economic growth. Yang and Zhou were selected from a highly competitive pool of 147 candidates and their achievement is a testament of their courage and tenacity.
