Wang Shu honored as female role model ahead of Intnl. Women's Day

Peking University, March 6, 2024: Prof. Wang Shu from Peking University People’s Hospital was honored as the National March 8th Red-Banner Pacesetter at the meeting held by the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) recently.
Wang Shu is the director of the Breast Center at Peking University People’s Hospital, where she also serves as a professor and doctoral supervisor.
Wang is the recipient of several awards for her research and work on breast cancer and has authored and co-authored papers published in renowned medical journals including Science Translational Medicine, Cancer, Oncogene, Breast Cancer Research and Treatment, and Journal of Surgical Oncology.
The National March 8th Red-Banner Pacesetter honor is presented annually to celebrate female role models in China and mark International Women's Day, which falls on March 8.
