Peking University, November 8, 2022: The first advanced agricultural culture festival was held on campus by the PKU School of Advanced Agricultural Sciences recently at the PKU Hall.
At the entrance of the event, a set of posters were staged, introducing a variety of well-known crops in people's daily life, including vegetables, fruits and grains, as well as the latest scientific research achievements from the School of Advanced Agricultural Sciences, with an aim of displaying the latest advances and development in modern agricultural science.
New agricultural products developed by the School of Advanced Agricultural Sciences were also introduced to PKUers for the first time, including giant watermelons, super-spicy and non-spicy chili, and high-nutrient rice. The special and unusual crops at the exhibition amazed the students with the use of technology in modern agriculture.
Various interactive activities at the festival attracted great interest from the participants, including bookmark-making, cornhusking, and agriculture quizzes. PKUers learned a lot while enjoying themselves from the informative games.
This fun-filled agricultural festival brought laughter and joy to the campus, and also helped PKUers gain new knowledge about how the crops were grown.
