Peking University, June 20, 2025: With a stunning show of flexibility and poise, the PKU yoga team, comprising both students and faculty, dominated in the 8th Capital Universities Yoga Competition participated by more than 1000 yogis from 32 higher education institutions in Beijing, held at China Women’s University. Namaste champions! 

Expanded with group and solo sequences, this year’s competition brimmed with maestros and rivalry. Even though overshadowed by many other teams competing in more events, the PKU team showed serenity under pressure, claiming first prizes in 5 events, including 4 group sequences and one solo sequence.

Along with many other individual awards, the PKU team also won the Excellent Organization Award, showcasing a strong and coherent teamwork!
