Peking University, September 22, 2024: The 48th International Collegiate Programming Contest World Finals (ICPC WF) took place in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, from September 15 to 20, 2024. The gold medal was awarded to the team from Peking University's School of Electronics Engineering and Computer Science, comprising undergraduates Wang Weicheng, Wang Xiangwen, and Xu Anyi. 

The team was mentored by Prof. Luo Guojie and Prof. Zhang Qinjian from the School of Electronics Engineering and Computer Science. This achievement marks a significant milestone for Peking University in the realm of competitive programming.

The ICPC WF is widely regarded as one of the most esteemed programming competitions globally. In the past four editions of the competition, Peking University teams have secured two gold medals and two silver medals.
