Peking University, May 25, 2012: On May 21, National Planning Office of Philosophy and Social Science announced the result of 2012 National Social Science Fund projects. PKU won 41 projects, including six key projects, 24 normal projects and 11 youth projects, and was the top one among national universities, This year PKU applied for 158 projects in total, 25.9% of which was approved.
National Social Science Fund Project ranks the highest and has the most influence in humanities and social sciences field. It shows the research ability of universities and research institutions. Social Science Department will continue to provide good service for project teams, and better manage project funds, on the basis of the previous work of organizing project declaration to promote the development of PKU humanities and social science research.
