Peking University, May 29, 2012: Led by Professor Doug Goss, a delegation of the University of Alberta visited Peking University (PKU) and signed a MOU on May 25, 2012. Li Yansong, vice president of PKU met with the delegation at Lin Hu Xuan. Other representatives from both sides presented at the meeting.

As the Chair of the Board of Governors of the University of Alberta, Goss spoke highly of PKU and pointed out, “Peking University is one of the most prestigious universities in China and I look forward to collaborating with PKU in more fields”.

The sighning ceremony

According to the Memorandum of Understanding signed by Goss and Li, the two universities shall carry out international student exchange program starting from autumn semester 2013 and cooperate in research and other aspects.

Li expressed his welcome and said he would promote the academic collaboration between both parties. “I would like to see the students from our two universities will benefit from the program”.
