Peking University, Oct.17, 2012: Sponsored by Peking University Golf Association (PGA), the “2012 Beijing College Open Golf Championship” Association was held at Beijing Riverside Resort Golf Club on October 12. Till now, PKU golf team has won six successive group championships.

PKU golf team won the first prize in men's team, and top four prizes in men's single. They were Wang Xinyu( 1^st ) , Liu Fengyuan( 2^nd ), Zhang Yanbo( 3^rd ) and Zhang Deng( 4^th ). Women players won the runner-up in women's team and Zeng Yuxin got the 3^rd prize in women's single.

Peking University Golf Association (PGA), a non-profit, specialized association which was established by PKU students and alumni who love and want to popularize golf, is the first student golf association in China. It aims at popularizing golf among PKU students and enhancing the students’ understanding about golf. Now, golf has been officially listed as an event in the Olympic Games and the Universiade. PGA will hold more golf competitions and promoting golf among the universities.
