A Delegation from Juntendo University Visits Peking University Health Science Center

Peking University, April 9, 2025: A delegation from Juntendo University visited Peking University Health Science Center (PKUHSC) and its four affiliated hospitals in March, with a view to promoting in-depth exchanges between Juntendo University and PKUHSC.
Experts from both sides had comprehensive discussions and information exchanges on medical services and research, joint training programs, treatment for geriatric and skin diseases, and prospects for more cooperation in the future.
Both sides expressed their hope to deepen cooperation in the treatment of Alzheimer's and other neurological diseases, as part of efforts to better protect the aging populations in both countries
A consensus had been reached through the discussions that further cooperation could improve administration and sustainable development for hospitals in both countries.
The delegation included Rie Ueki and Nobuto Shibata, deputy directors of the Juntendo Tokyo Koto Elderly Medical Center; Atsumasa Otake, deputy head (executive head) of the Medical Affairs Department and of the Hospital Laws and Regulations Inspection Department; Hiroyuki Ase, head of the Rehabilitation Department; Yumiko Sakuragi, nursing director of the Nursing Department; Yuji Nishizaki, professor of Medical Education in the Graduate School of Juntendo University; Satoru Takasaki, head of the International Exchange Center; and Nene Shiba, director of the International Exchange Center.
