Peking University, June 10, 2025: On June 3, 2025, the Rector of the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) Ricardo Gelpi led a delegation to visit Peking University (PKU). PKU President Gong Qihuang and Vice President Ning Qi received the delegation at Linhuxuan.
Gong Qihuang remarked on the strong partnership between China and Latin America, particularly in the education sector. PKU looks forward to deepen cooperation with UBA in areas such as faculty and student exchanges, academic exchanges, and joint research.
Ricardo Gelpi noted the importance of both universities’ collaboration in the development of Latin America-China higher education. In his opinion, such exchanges will not only bring breakthroughs in education and research, but also further promote the friendly ties between China and Latin America.
The event was also attended by representatives from relevant PKU departments and administrative offices.
