Peking University, December 2, 2025: Christophe Bernasconi, Secretary-General of the Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH), led a delegation to Peking University (PKU) on November 28, and was received by Fang Fang, Vice President of PKU, at Linhuxuan.

Fang Fang introduced to the delegation PKU’s recent advancements in international engagement, disciplinary development, and legal studies, emphasizing the University’s solid foundation in private international law, cross-border dispute resolution, and digital economy governance. Fang Fang expressed PKU’s interest in deepening collaboration with HCCH in areas such as joint research, student training, and policy studies.

Thanking PKU for the reception, Mr. Bernasconi acknowledged the University’s pivotal role in legal education and its contribution to training professionals in global governance. He expressed expectations for enhanced exchanges and cooperation in cross-border civil and commercial affairs, digital economy governance, and youth capacity-building.

Following the meeting, Mr. Bernasconi interacted with faculty and students from the PKU Law School. Senior representatives from relevant departments and schools also attended the event.
