Peking University, May 8, 2026: Susana Mourato, vice president and pro-vice chancellor (research) of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), recently visited Peking University (PKU) with a delegation. She was received by Duan Huiling, vice president of PKU, and representatives from relevant PKU departments at Linhuxuan.
Duan introduced the latest developments at PKU in talent development, academic planning, international cooperation, as well as artificial intelligence and educational innovation. She remarked on the strong partnership between the two universities and expressed hopes to strengthen university-level communication on existing and future projects such as climate change, sustainable development, global governance, and artificial intelligence.
Exchange between Mourato and Duan
Mourato shared that LSE attaches great importance to its cooperation with PKU to complement each other’s academic strengths. Moving forward, LSE is inclined to deepen faculty and student-level exchanges, joint programs, and research collaboration with PKU, thereby delivering more tangible outcomes.
