Peking University, May 18, 2026: On May 14, a Singapore education delegation led by Mr. Andrew Lim Boon Kong, Zonal Director (Schools), South, Ministry of Education of Singapore, visited Peking University. Mr. Dong Zhiyong, vice president of Peking University (PKU), met with the delegation at Linhuxuan.
Welcoming the delegation, Dong Zhiyong noted that PKU has long worked closely with Singapore’s education community, partnering with Singaporean universities, schools, and other institutions to achieve fruitful results. He also emphasized that PKU places a strong focus on artificial intelligence and expressed hope that both sides could deepen cooperation in AI's application in education.
Andrew Lim thanked PKU for its warm reception. He spoke highly of the university’s outstanding achievements in higher education, scientific and technological innovation, and international cooperation. He also expressed interest in deepening practical collaboration with PKU, particularly in smart education, to further strengthen China-Singapore education exchange.
