Founded in 2011, TCSC Award for Excellence (Middle Career Researcher) is given to scholars who have obtained their Ph. D degrees in 6-15 years and rooted themselves in the theories, methods, or systems of scalable computing. It is well-accepted as an internationally competitive award recognizing the top scientists who have made distinguished, influential, and ongoing yet long-lasting contributions.

The award adopts the nomination method, and any candidates must be recommended by a nominator and appreciated by another 1-3 supporters in relevant fields. Statistically, only 3-4 young or middle-aged scientists will be selected worldwide in each round of competitive selections from many nominees. The award is spoken highly of its good academic influence and reputation, because part of the previous awardees has been elected as academicians of the European Academy of Sciences, IEEE Fellow, ACM outstanding scientists, etc.

Congratulations to Dr. Liu Xuanzhe!
