2024 Cross-Strait, Hong Kong, and Macau Nursing Forum Highlights Regional Collaboration and Innovation
Peking University October 10, 2024: The Cross-Strait, Hong Kong, and Macau Nursing Forum 2024 took place at Macao Polytechnic University (MPU) on September 15, co-hosted by Peking University Health Science Center (PKUHSC) and the Macao Medical Center of Peking Union Medical College Hospital. MPU and the Cross-Straits Medicine Exchange Association also co-organized the event.
Key speakers included Vice Minister Cao Xuetao of the National Health Commission, Secretary Ao Ieong U for Social Affairs and Culture in Macau, Director Joy Lee of Taiwan Nursing Management Association, and PKUHSC President Qiao Jie (via video).
The forum, themed around enhancing technical exchange and promoting inclusive development, brought together over 60 nursing experts. Discussions covered topics such as nursing practice, training, and the integration of innovation and technology. The event also highlighted the achievements of the PKUHSC-MPU nursing program and the Macao Medical Center program, both launched three years ago under the guidance of the National Health Commission.
