Peking University October 10, 2024: The Endocrinology Department of Peking University First Hospital (PUFH) presented three studies at the 60th Annual Meeting of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD), Europe's premier diabetes conference. The event brought together physicians and scientists from around the world to discuss the latest advancements in diabetes diagnosis, treatment, and research.
PUFH's contributions included Dr. Liu Lin's study on “Efficacy and Safety of HS-20094 in Patients with Type 2 Diabetes,” Dr. Zheng Jia's work on “Distinct Cord Blood Lipid Signatures and Insights into Childhood Metabolic Health,” and Dr. Zhang Ling's research on how a maternal high-fat diet influences offspring cholesterol metabolism via gut microbiota. Dr. Zheng's presentation earned her a Travel Grant at the meeting.
PUFH's participation showcased the academic potential of its younger endocrinologists and raised their profile among international peers.
