Peking University, December 8, 2024: Recently, the 2024 Peking University (PKU) Interdisciplinary Nursing Research (INR) Forum was successfully held in Zhuhai. Sponsored by the PKU School of Nursing and the journal- Interdisciplinary Nursing Research and organized by the Zhuhai Nursing Society, the forum centered on the theme "Integrated Innovation: Empowering Nursing." The forum aimed to promote interdisciplinary collaboration in nursing and advance international health initiatives.
Distinguished experts and scholars from global nursing and related disciplines shared their cutting-edge research and insights at the forum. More than 300 researchers from across China participated.
During the academic report session, experts from diverse fields like global nursing, artificial intelligence, and architecture jointly explored the application of interdisciplinary research in nursing and presented their latest findings. The forum received 53 full-text paper submissions and 207 abstracts, from which six excellent papers were selected for presentation at the conference. Over forty academic posters were on display at the forum, showcasing innovative interdisciplinary solutions to nursing challenges. The participants had lively discussions on future research directions and opportunities for cooperation.
The forum provided a dynamic platform for communication and cooperation among researchers and young scholars in global nursing and related disciplines. Moving forward, the PKU School of Nursing and the journal INR are committed to building international platforms that support the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and national strategies such as the Belt and Road Initiative. Through these efforts, they aim to drive innovation and growth in the nursing field while strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration and international health cooperation.
