Peking University, January 4, 2026: At the Grand Final of the 2025 Excellence Case Sharing Award (ECSA) held on December 13 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Dr. Li Tao of Peking University Shougang Hospital won the Hippocratic Excellence Award. 

The award was themed “Prevention and Management of Pressure Injury among Children and Adult.” Serving as Associate Chief of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Shougang and Chief of Wound Repair at Handan Iron and Steel Group Hospital, Dr. Li stood out among 155 competitors from 11 countries in the Asia-Pacific region with his solid professional knowledge and rich clinical experience.



The winning case of Dr. Li’s group focused on the clinical challenge of full-cycle management of complex pressure injuries. Their protocol added individualized adjustment while following evidence-based guidelines, demonstrating both the rigor of medicine and the warmth of humanistic care.
